It's a Moony Day

The connections my kids make as they grow older are wonderful to see. It makes me smile ... and I have been bad about writing them down. But my son made one last night that made me smile. When the sun comes out on the way to school, he often says "It's a sunny day". So last night, when getting ready for bed after the sun went down he pipes up with "It's a moony day". You can't help but smile.

It reminded me of how my daughter used to think the word "umbrella" was "rainbrella". She called them rainbrellas for a couple years. We never felt like correcting her because it was a connection she made with the function umbrellas serve. Glad I am getting this down.
